Gardening for Good July 2021

Our guest on Gardening for Good this week is Laurie Silvia, who has demonstrated that you don’t have to be a specialist (or a millionaire) to convert your lawn into a more environmentally friendly landscape. Over time, and with curiosity and commitment, Laurie has converted her lawn into meadow and wildlife habitat.  She estimates that she has about 80 percent less lawn than before she started, and now there are birds and foxes and bunnies to see and enjoy.

Join us for a conversation about how you, too, can take steps to rethink your lawn – into a diverse, lively and environmentally sound alternative landscape.
